About
I am a high school software engineer who likes to understand things by building them from the ground up. That ranges from four GPT-style language models written from scratch in PyTorch, to a Congressional App Challenge winning AI study app, to FRC robotics, Unity games, a brain-computer-interface project, and CTF security work. Over three years I have built 300+ projects across about eight languages.
Experience & recognition
How I work
Leadership
Programming sub-team lead on FRC Team 8588, and I drive AI innovation and run IT at UA Design.
Communication
I present and demo my work, from the Congressional App Challenge stage to walking non-engineers through technical builds.
Collaboration
Built Neuromaker with our school's biotech academy and shipped robot code as part of the FRC robotics team.
First-principles thinking
I learn by building from scratch: tokenizers, transformers, a game engine, rather than reaching for a library.
Self-direction
300-plus projects across about eight languages, almost all self-initiated and self-taught.
Adaptability
Comfortable moving between ML, full-stack, mobile, robotics, and security.
